Day One of weightless phase

First day of weight loss phase Slim4Life

I was put on Plan 2. A counselor determines what plan you are to use based on a phone interview with you, or a consultation. I am on the home program, so my counselor called me for this.
Plan 2 consists of the following per day:
2 fruit servings (before 6pm)
4 vegetable servings (2 cooked, 2 raw)
2 starch servings
2 protein servings
1 fat serving
4 oz. Skim milk
1/4 tsp. Mortons light salt.

2 supplement snacks (one drink mix and one bar)

1 vitamin with breakfast
1 carb blocker 30 minutes prior to each of your 3 daily meals
2 herbal metabolizers with each of your 3 daily meals
2 essential fatty acids with each of your 3 daily meals

2 boost4life drinks per day.

A list is provided in the starter kit about what foods are allowed in each category and what amount constitutes a serving. If its not on the list, it's not allowed.

Here's how I did my first day:

Breakfast: 1 carb blocker 30 minutes before. 1 herb metabolizer, 1 vitamin, 3 essential fatty acids, 1 scrambled egg with 1/16 tsp mls, 1 small orange, 22 oz water

Mid-Morning 1/4 cup blueberries, 4 oz. Skim milk, boost4life drink, 16 oz water

Lunch: 1 carb blocker 30 minutes before, 1 metabolizer, 3 efa, 2 eggs scrambled with 1/16 tsp mls, Quaker salt-free rice cake, 1 cup baby spinach, 1 cup celery chopped, 22 oz water

Snack: caramel crunch slim4life bar, boost4life drink

Dinner: 6 oz. Grilled chicken seasoned with mrs. Dash savory and 1/8 tsp mls, 1/2 cup cooked broccoli, 1/2 cup cooked cauliflower, 1 slice 40 calorie bread, 1 tbsp promise spread, 22 oz water

Late Evening: cappuccino drink mix

Day 1 notes: I felt pretty good all day, had energy, wasn't too hungry. By 11:00 at night when my fiance gets home from work, and I'm used to eating a big dinner, I was starting to feel hungry. Not starving, but eating sounded really good. I drank an extra big water with some "mio liquid water enhancer". It's zero calories and mixes instantly with water much better than crystal light powder, plus the flavors are really good. Watched a movie, did my food diary, and plugged all my food for the day into my sparkpeople iPhone app (awesome diet an fitness tracker by the way) and my calorie count was 956 for the entire day. Including absolutely everything I ate. That is sure not many calories!

Introduction

Prep phase + introduction

I am 25 years old, 5'10", female. I have a one year old son, and love my life.... Except for the fact that my BMI is in the overweight range. So, having been thin my whole life until I got pregnant, I'm just not comfy knowing that. I'm ready to be a hot mama! My goal weight is 150. Smack dab in the middle of the normal range for a woman my height. I weighed about 150 prior to my pregnancy. Now I weigh in the ballpark range of 220 lbs. (not 100% sure because my scale broke and the new one has not arrived yet.)

So, I signed up for the slim4life home program at www.slimkc.com. I chose the 4 week plan for 12-20 lbs of weight loss so that I could test it out before committing to the pricier 10 week program. They say you lose 3-5 lbs. Per week.
The home program is different than the regular one because you don't go to a center for counseling or weigh-ins. You have email counseling with a person from the center, and they send you everything via ups.

I began the 3 day prep as soon as my starter package arrived.
The three day prep is basically a jumpstart to get your body off sugar, carbs, and starches.
Basically you eat a lot of meat. 2-3 lbs is required per day. Preferably beef. They say the more you eat the more you lose. And the more BEEF you eat the more you lose. This applies to the prep phase only, not the weight loss phase. Also you can eat unlimited raw green vegetables (except peas), 2 eggs for breakfast, half an orange in the morning, and the other half before 6:00pm, unlimited fat free salad dressing, oil and vinegar as dressing, and two servings of boost4life antioxidant drink supplement. The boost 4 life is included in your kit. You don't begin taking all your supplements yet, only your essential fatty acids (3 with each of your 3 meals)
Allowed seasonings are any both salt-free and sugar-free varieties. Plus you have to use 1/4 tsp. Of Morton lite salt per day. Oh yeah, and you can't drink more than 2 cups of caffeinated coffee per day and you MUST drink 80 oz. Water per day.

I thought the prep was easy. Because you really don't get too hungry with all that meat to eat. I went out the night before and bought 3 lbs. Of hamburger meat, 3 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast, and all my seasonings/dressings. So I just did the mostly same thing three days in a row. I work in a restaurant so my salmon meal I ordered there.

Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled with 1/8 tsp of Morton lite salt, 1/2 orange, 1 cup coffee, 3 essential fatty acids, 22 oz water

Mid-day snack: 1 1/2 large chicken breast (1lb.) grilled, seasoned with mrs. Dash, onion powder,1/16 tsp salt, chopped romaine lettuce, fat free dressing, boost4life drink, 22 oz. Water

Late Lunch: (at work) 8 oz. Grilled salmon, giant bowl of mixed greens, oil and vinegar, black pepper, 1/2 orange
Boost4life drink, 3 essential fatty acids 22 oz water

Dinner 1 lb. Of hamburger patties, seasoned with onion powder, mrs dash, 1/16 tsp Morton lite salt, baby spinach with kraft free thousand island dressing as sauce for burgers and dressing for spinach. 3 essential fatty acids, 22 oz water

The boost4life drink is full of b vitamins and really gave me energy. I stopped drinking coffee after the first day because I really didn't need it. And I normally drink 6 cups per day, plus red bull.

Since I didn't have my scale, I really don't know my exact starting weight or how much I lost on the prep phase, but I did have more energy, and after 3 days my pants felt looser on my waist.
